As part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, Bethesda and Microsoft released a live-action trailer for Starfield–and it’s pretty impressive.
The video, set to a rendition of Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” shows an astronaut blasting off into space, zipping around in a space ship, landing on a mysterious planet, and adventuring through an strange alien world. It definitely captures what seems to be the essence of the game, which is that you can go anywhere and do anything in a vast open world. Check it out:
Starfield arrives in early September on Xbox and PC, as well as cloud streaming, but the game’s first 40 minutes and other details have leaked ahead of time. Copies of the game are now in the wild, so fans will want to be wary of spoilers for the next couple of weeks.
