Dead Island 2 promised at least two story content DLC packs in its expansion pass, and the first of them, the Haus DLC, is now here. If you want to investigate the bizarre, post-apocalyptic murder cult yourself, you’ll first need to know how to start the Haus DLC, but the game doesn’t telegraph it too well. Dead Island 2 – How to start Haus DLC
The first thing you’ll want to do is ensure you’ve purchased the game’s Gold Edition, the expansion pass, or the Haus DLC. Naturally, we expect you have done this already if you’re reading this now, but we mention it just in case, as the Haus DLC is not a free update.
Next, ensure you’ve installed the latest patch, which unlocks the DLC for play. If you’re on game version 1.4.110.3923, you’ve got the latest update installed. If not, make sure to install it, then boot up the game.
