AEW Aims For Saturday Night Slams With New Show

After months of speculation, AEW will add a brand-new show called Collision to TNT, premiering Saturday, June 17. Collision was announced Wednesday by Warner Bros. Discovery’s US Networks CCO Kathleen Finch during the company’s 2023 Upfront presentation. This will be the first wrestling program on a Turner network since WCW Saturday Night folded over 20 years ago.

Collision will be a live, two-hour, in-ring show that will air every Saturday night from 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET and will feature marquee names such as the returning Miro, Ring of Honor TV Champ Samoa Joe, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Andrade El Idolo.

“With the addition of AEW: Collision on TNT, I’m extremely proud that a Turner network will be the home of Saturday night wrestling for the first time in more than two decades,” said AEW CEO Tony Khan in a statement. “The debut of Collision is significant across numerous sectors including television, wrestling, entertainment, and sports, and reinforces AEW as the bold property we envisioned when we launched in 2019.”
