National Cinema Day is returning for 2023, and that means all movies at many theaters this coming weekend will be just $4 (before tax), and that includes tickets for Barbie and Oppenheimer.
The National Association of Theater Owners (NATO) have announced that National Cinema Day 2023 will take place this Sunday, August 27 in the United States only. More than 3,000 theaters are taking part in the promo, which is organized by NATO’s Cinema Foundation charity.
2022 marked the first instance of National Cinema Day, and it was a big success, with 8.1 million people seeing a movie for the discounted rate of $3, according to the AP. This year, it’s a dollar more and taking place on a Sunday as opposed to a Saturday.
