Nvidia might be planning to reveal several different versions of its next GPU, the RTX 4060, at Computex later this month, with the latest report suggesting a variant with more VRAM than the recently released RTX 4070. According to leaker MEGAsizeGPU, and reported by Videocardz, Nvidia is gearing up to announce both the RTX 4060 and two versions of the RTX 4060 Ti during its Computex keynote. An official and newly announced World of Warcraft community Discord program has faced swift backlash from fans over parts of its member agreement. The agreement requires users agree to not make negative statements about developer Blizzard. In addition, Discord servers participating in the program would be required to install tracking software, which Blizzard would be granted access to. On paper, the community Discord program, which initially was only for European Discord communities, seemed like a no-brainer. By agreeing to the program member agreement, community Discords would receive various perks, including occasional developer Q&As and more official means to feedback to…

It’s a new week in Destiny 2, but before you dive back into the Guardian Games and mop up any lingering bounties, there’s a fresh update to install. This week’s update isn’t too massive, and is mostly focused on the Guardian Games and a few weapon issues. According to the patch notes, an issue where progress on the Heir Apparent quest and its catalyst aren’t advanced by certain objectives. Another issue related to the Champ Seal not being gilded has also been resolved. For those players who found that progress on the Fly the Flag bounty was taking too long,…

Elite Dangerous finally lets its players inside its mysterious Thargoid Maelstrom clouds today thanks to the arrival of Update 15, but having now seen what’s waiting inside thee huge gas giants, you know what? The beautiful watercolour vistas of Dordogne have been on my radar for a while now, and happily developers Un Je Ne Sais Quoi have just announced exactly when we’ll be able to smoosh our faces in its lovely, puzzle-y paint pot. It’s coming to PC and consoles on June 13th, making it the perfect palette cleanser to all the preceding not-E3 nonsense that will be taking place in the days beforehand. I recently played a short demo of Dordogne, and it really is as lovely as its gorgeous screenshots suggest. I’m looking forward to this one a lot. Read more

A kingdom in ruin, a procession of forlorn and horrifying foes, and big bosses that’ll make you beg for mercy (yet at the same time beg for more). Yes, the Souls-like is one of gaming’s most revered and reviled genres, and we’ve seen it take many weird and wonderful forms over the years, but have you ever seen a hero fight a leader of a mythical gnome-like cult with nothing but his boxers on? Well, with Greedventory—the upcoming 2D action RPG from Ukrainian developer Black Tower Basement and Lithuanian developer-publisher Nordcurrent Labs—you may be about to. For a start, Greedventory,…

If Michel Foucault and Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide have taught me anything, it’s this: School is a prison. Beneath the plastic cafeteria trays and suffocating aroma of Lynx Africa lies a tyrannical order delineated by strict social hierarchies, and if you want to survive till graduation, your only option is to walk in, find the biggest guy there, and deck him. Troublemaker, a kind of budget Yakuza from Indonesian studio Gamecom Team, understands this. You take on the role of Budi, a misunderstood tough guy whose constant brawling has led his mother to transfer him to “one of Indonesia’s…

Activision Blizzard has hired one of the UK’s most prominent legal eagles to lead the fight against the Competition and Market Authority’s (CMA) recent decision to block the proposed $65 billion deal with Microsoft (thanks, Financial Times). Lord David Pannick KC of Blackstone Chambers is viewed as one of the great barristers of his time, with former clients including Queen Elizabeth II. Most recently he was in the news for advising the disgraced former Prime Minister Boris Johnson over the partygate scandal (where UK government figures were living it large behind closed doors while imposing lockdown restrictions on the population).…
