CoD: MW2 And Warzone 2 Mid-Season Patch Notes Include Warzone TTK Changes And The Boys Crossover

The Season 4 Reloaded update will go live today in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, bringing new content and a crossover with The Boys television series. Activision has revealed the patch notes for the big update, which include weapon balancing, bug fixes, and a welcome change to one of Modern Warfare 2’s most controversial maps.

At launch, the Santa Seña Border Crossing map got tons of hate for its more unique layout as a narrow strip of highway with tons of exploding cars. According to the mid-season patch notes, vehicles on the Santa Seña Border Crossing map will no longer explode. The vehicles can still be damaged, but they cannot kill players.

Another major change is the weapon balancing specific to Warzone. The developer addresses that there will be a bigger emphasis on accuracy in gunfights in battle royale and DMZ, saying, “While this change will result in a wider range of time-to-kill values, meaning some weapons will be able to kill faster when fired more accurately, and slower when not–it allows weapons the necessary space to feel more distinct and promotes an ecosystem where each weapon class can excel.”
