Helldivers 2 Update Planned For October, With “Bigger Performance Pieces” Needing More Time

In a lengthy social media post, Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios acknowledged “issues including performance drops, stability hiccups, freezes, and the annoying audio bugs.” The plan is to start addressing those problems next month, though performance-related fixes will require a longer-term solution.

The first update is slated to arrive in “mid-October-ish” for Helldivers 2, according to the game’s official X account. That patch will focus on crashing issues, audio interruptions for primary weapon/sidearm, minor performance upgrades, and more. In addition, Arrowhead added that it’s aiming for “more transparency and more talk” about Helldivers 2 moving forward. That will begin next week with a new post about the shooter, according to the developer.
