Motorsport Games has announced that all NASCAR games and their associated DLC will be removed from sale at the end of 2024. The decision comes after the NASCAR simulation-style console game license was transferred to iRacing in October 2023.
End of an Era for Motorsport’s NASCAR Titles
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Motorsport Games confirmed that NASCAR games will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2024. However, players who already own the games will still be able to play them.
“To the NASCAR game community! From 31st December, 2024, all NASCAR game titles and their DLC content will no longer be available for purchase on all digital storefronts but will remain available to play after this time,” Motorsport wrote.
The developer also expressed gratitude to its community: “We sincerely thank our community for the enthusiasm and support you’ve shown for these games over the years and hope you have enjoyed racing with us.”
iRacing Takes the Wheel
The change follows the announcement that iRacing acquired the NASCAR console racing game license last year. Known for its highly detailed and immersive racing simulations, iRacing is expected to bring a fresh perspective to NASCAR games on consoles.

704 Games, a subsidiary of Motorsport Games, will continue to be involved in the franchise’s development. A new NASCAR console title is already in the works, with a projected release date in 2025.
