Raw Fury Appoints Pim Holfve as New CEO, Founder Jónas Antonsson to Lead Parent Company

Raw Fury, the indie game publisher known for championing innovative titles, has appointed Pim Holfve as its new CEO. Holfve will step into the role previously held by Jónas Antonsson, the founder of Raw Fury, as Antonsson transitions to head Combined Effect, Raw Fury’s parent company.

Pim Holfve’s Industry Background: Holfve joins Raw Fury with an impressive background in the gaming industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of Flashbulb Games, the studio behind Trailmakers. He also led Avalanche Studios as CEO, where he worked for almost a decade, including a tenure as VP of corporate business development. His early career includes over six years with Candy Crush creator King.
Jónas Antonsson’s New Role: While stepping down as Raw Fury’s CEO, Antonsson isn’t stepping away from his passion for gaming. As the new CEO of Combined Effect, he’ll oversee multiple subsidiaries, including Raw Fury, Taiwan-based publisher Neon Doctrine, Japan-based Kakehashi Games, and Croatia’s Fury Studios, a co-development studio.

Leadership Vision and Goals
In a statement, Holfve expressed excitement about building on Raw Fury’s achievements. “I’m delighted to join such a talented team with so many great games from an amazingly diverse set of developers under its belt, and many more to come. I hope to build on and strengthen the winning formula that Raw Fury has developed,” he said.

Antonsson praised Holfve’s record of industry success, stating, “Pim has a track record of success that I am confident will continue at Raw Fury. He is a leader who knows how to unlock potential, and it’s great to have him on the team.” Antonsson also emphasized his plans to foster growth and innovation across Combined Effect’s portfolio.
