Sega to Delist Classic Games from Digital Storefronts

Sega has announced plans to delist select games and bundles from its Classics collections on digital storefronts, effective December 6, 2024. This move aims to refine Sega’s classic game offerings, ensuring a more streamlined experience for players.

Affected Titles and Platforms
The Sega Genesis Classics bundle will be delisted from Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, while the Mega Drive bundle will be removed from Steam. Individual titles, including Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Virtua Fighter 2 and Altered Beast, will also be delisted on Xbox and Steam.

Important Considerations
Although these titles will be unavailable for new purchases, players who already own them will still have access to their libraries. Additionally, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can continue playing individual classic titles.
