The Super Mario Bros. Movie continues to set records. It is now the biggest movie of all time in Mexico based on box office performance (via VGC). The film has now earned more than $82 million in Mexico, surpassing Spider-Man: No Way Home, which made $81.16 million in Mexico.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, animated films are known to perform well in Mexico, so it’s not a big surprise to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie doing big business.
