It’s the most magical time of the year for fans of pro wrestling, as in the afterglow of the Royal Rumble live event, the road to Wrestlemania has begun. Between the buildup to the showcase of the immortals, fans can hop into the digital ring–do play this at home!–with the release of WWE 2K24 this year. The annual wrestling video game series is back for another year, offering new match types, a trip down Wrestlemania memory lane, and a refreshed roster of superstars to play as when you aim to reach the top of the sports entertainment industry.
Like previous games, WWE 2K24 is going to have a stacked roster. WWE legends, NXT rookies, and main-eventers are present, and we’re taking a look below at all of the pro wrestlers you can expect in the game. For now, we’re only listing confirmed superstars, and you can expect this list to grow in the weeks to come.
One big name on the WWE roster that might not appear in this year’s game is Brock Lesnar, as he has already been removed from the WWE Supercard mobile game following allegations of him being reportedly connected to the new lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. Lesnar was also originally scheduled to be a part of the 40 Years of Wrestlemania edition for WWE 2K24 and he was featured prominently on the artwork for this digital-only version of WWE 2K24, but he has since been removed.
Another big name we’re waiting for confirmation on is CM Punk, as the straight-edge superstar made his return to the company late last year. If Punk is included on the WWE 2K24 roster, this will be the first time in a decade that he has officially been in a WWE game.
