What to Expect From Lost Odyssey: Shadows of Destiny

Lost Odyssey: Shadows of Destiny will be one show you won’t want to miss for a ton of reasons, with the top one being it’s all for a good cause as it will be raising money for Extra Life. Fans will be able to go to the eBay-powered The Extra Life Marketplace to bid on such items as exclusive Avatar Legends books signed by members of the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender and exclusive props from the Shadows of Destiny special itself.

As for what the show will be about, it’s set to be an original story played out in Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game that comes from the mind of martial artist, stunt performer, actor, and motion capture artist TJ Storm. For those unfamiliar with his impressive resume, he has worked on such projects as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Predator, and Vader Immortal.

While this is all wonderful in its own right, one of the most special parts of Lost Odyssey: Shadows of Destiny is that it will star Zach Tyler Eisen, the actor who voiced Aang in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Eisen stepped away from acting after Avatar ended, so it will undoubtedly be a treat to see him back in action.

He will be joined by his Avatar co-star Michaela Jill Murphy, who lent her voice to the earth-bending wonder known as Toph in the show. Shadows of Destiny’s cast will also include Kaiji Tang, the voice of Ichiban Kasuga in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Guts in Berserk, and professional wrestler Athena Palmer of WWE and AEW fame.

Shadows of Destiny will also be so much more than just a standard roleplaying game, as Storm worked with showrunners DiMuccio & Miller and the teams of Lost Odyssey and Mind’s Eye Tribe Action Actor’s Academy to bring the game to life. This will be seen in the form of marital arts shadowplay choreopgraphy scenes based on the decisions and actions of the players at the table.

We can’t wait for you to see all the surprises in store during Lost Odyssey: Shadows of Destiny. For more, check out some of the previous Lost Odyssey one-shots, including the Elijah Wood-narrated The Red Scribe and the Promised Gold show with Jack Black.
